GWK – Uluwatu, Bali Indonesia

Last week , I going to Bali for vacation on 5 days. After my plane landed in Ngurah Rai airport, I call a taxi to hotel. I choose hotel in Legian because close to Kuta and Legian beach. After arrived to the hotel and the day already afternoon, so I decide to spend my time going to South Bali. FYI, In Bali, if you want to go anywhere and looking cheap price, you must rent a motor cycle or car. Because taxi in Bali is an expensive and there’s no public transportation in Bali.

Time to travel from Kuta-Legian to South Bali takes 1 hour. My first is a Tanjung Benoa beach. Tanjung Benoa beach is a stretch of beach with beautiful white sand in the southern parts of Bali. The beach is quiet and clean water and is suitable as a place of recreation for the family. There are a variety of water sports on offer such as jet skis, banana boats, diving, parasailing, and others. In this beach, sometime you can see dolphins dancing in the sea. You also can rent a boat to go to Turtle Island, where the breeding and maintenance of the largest turtles in Bali.

After from beach, I continue to go to Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, where there is a statue of Vishnu riding Garuda bird (but this statue still not already finish created). This park is in Unggasan Hill – Jimbaran Bali. This statue is masterpiece Bali, I Nyoman Nuarta. In this park, you can see statue head of Vishnu and also head of Garuda bird. Entrance ticket to GWK Park at 50.000 rupiah / person

Third stop, I going to Dreamland Beach in Pecatu Village. This beach is famous with Surfing beach and also know as New Kuta Beach. You also can swimming in this beach. This beach has white sand and surrounding with white rock cliff. To enter this beach, you pay parking fee at 15000 rupiah /car

Next, I continue go to Uluwatu Temple, a really exotic temple for its sunset view. This temple was guarded by dozens of apes. In this place too, you can see Kecak Dance performance during sunset view. Entrance ticket cost to Uluwatu Temple at 3000 rupiah / person
